Tracy Conrad, a highly revered pioneer of the Palm Springs preservation movement, will receive the award for “Preservationist of the Year” for her magnificent restoration of The Willows and O’Donnell properties and for her most recent accomplishment, bringing The Aluminaire House, which was designed as a case study by architects A. Lawrence Kocher and Albert Frey in April, 1931, to Palm Springs.
